Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove won Iraq Stars League with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in his first season. Dove, 31, completed the move to Iraq in August last year after being released by Chiefs following the 2024/25 campaign. The left-back old has since made 24 appearances for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and created one assists. The Mozambican defender helped the Iraq giants to end their league drought, winning their first title in five years. Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya won the league with 83 points in 36 games, second placed Al-Shorta finished with 76 points. The title win means, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya will participate in the AFC
