Mamelodi Sundowns have reached a club-to-club agreement with Stellenbosch FC for defender Fawaaz Basadien. First reported by SABC Sport, iDiski Times has been reliably informed that Sundowns finally reached agreement with Stellenbosch for the services of the Basadien for an undisclosed transfer fee. The 28-year-old is expected to travel to Gauteng in the next coming days to complete the move to the Tshwane giants. Basadien had a fantastic 2024/25 season making 46 appearances in all competitions for the Cape Winelands side, netting seven goals and eight assists, making him the highest defender with that goal contribution in the last term.
