Banyana Banyana winger Gabriela Salgado has suffered a fractured leg in their defeat to Nigeria but has already undergone a successful operation. Salgado had to be stretchered off in the 87th minute of their 2-1 defeat to the Super Falcons in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final. New Manchester United signing Bryan Mbeumo will don the no.19 shirt for his new club. The 25-year-old Cameroonian penned a five-year contract with the option of another year in a £71million deal. Stellenbosch FC and SA U20 winger Faiz Abrahams has been unveiled by Isreali Liga Leumit side Hapoel Kfar Saba. This publication reported first on Wednesday afternoon that the 20-year-old was heading to the Middle East to join Saba on a season-long loan.
