South African striker Dino Ndlovu is in-demand again after an impressive start to life in Turkey with Kocaelispor.
The 31-year-old joined the Turkish second-tier side after three years in China with Zhejiang FC – where he became the club’s all-time record scorer.
He scored nine goals with one assist in just seven starts before injury curtailed his incredible run towards leading to charts for the Golden Boot award.
And his prolific form has not only earned him plaudits and fan-favourite status in the town of İzmit but also interest from K-League side Pohang Steelers who are in search of a new number nine ahead of their new 2022 season.
iDiski Times has learnt that five-time South Korean league winners are keen on his services but were quoted €1-million (R17m) for his services by his current club.
With only six months remaining on his contract, Ndlovu will be able to sign a pre-contract with a club of his choice see out the deal and leave as a free agent in July.
It remains to be seen whether the club is able to convince the former Qarabag hitman to remain beyond the current season as they look to win promotion to the SuperLig.
