TS Galaxy have announced the signing of Puso Dithejane after his contract with Kaizer Chiefs was terminated.
Dithejane has looked impressive in the right-back position for the Amakhosi in the DDC and the 19-year-old was also one of the six Chiefs DDC players who trained with the first team during pre-season.
He also linked up with the South African national team that finished in third place in the COSAFA Cup in Durban, winning his first senior cap in the 3rd/4th play-off.
The South African junior international recently scored in a 5-1 victory over AmaZulu FC in the DDC.
But, as first reported by iDiski Times, Dithejane was amongst a group of players who were supposed to be ball retrievers for the Carling Knockout Cup match against AmaZulu at FNB Stadium last month, but refused.
Chiefs were said to request R1.5 million for Dithejane to get his clearance and Galaxy seem to have pounced on the Bafana starlet, announcing his arrival on Monday.
“We are pleased to announce our signing of Puso Dithejane, who previously played for the Kaizer Chiefs DDC team. Welcome Home Young Rocket,” the club stated.
