Former Maritzburg United and Cape Town City striker Judas Moseamedi has parted ways with Tunisian side El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa, just six weeks after joining the club.
The ‘Tzaneen Express’ left Marumo Gallants after his six months contract came to an end in June, having joined the club in January.
The 29-year old had good short stint with Bahlabane Ba Ntwaa, making seven appearances and scoring two goals, including one in the CAF Confederations Cup.
It didn’t take long for him to snatched by another club, but surprisingly he was announced by a newly promoted Tunisian side El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa on a free transfer as they were trying to boast their squad for the upcoming Ligue 1, becoming the first South African player to move to Tunisia.
But just six weeks after he was announced as new signing, iDiski Times has learnt that he has parted ways with the club on mutual agreement.
Gafsa already played two matches in the league and Moseamedi was not on match day squad for both games.
Gafsa didn’t start the season well after playing a goalless draw against Club Africain and losing to the defending league champions Etoile Sportive Du Sahel by 3-0 at home.
