Former Maritzburg United striker Judas Moseamedi has started training with the club as he looks to get back in the game.
The towering striker recently left Tunisian side El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa after just six weeks in North Africa.
‘Tzaneen Express’ has struggled to settle at a new in the past few years since leaving United in 2021 to join Stellenbosch FC.
The 29-year-old left Stellies in 2023 due to a lack of game time at the club and went on to join Marumo Gallants, who got relegated five months later.
During his stay at Gallants, he made seven appearances in all competitions and scored two goals, one in the CAF Confederation Cup and one in the Nedbank Cup.
Surprisingly, in July he was announced by newly promoted Tunisian Ligue 1 side El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa on a short-term contract which was terminated after six weeks due to personal reasons, and he had to come back to the country.
With few days before the window transfer closes, VTM Football Club from Botswana came knocking for the forward, but they couldn’t agree on certain things as he ended up not signing for the club.
The information reached this website is that he’s currently training ‘The Team Of Choice’ but nothing has been signed yet with Zipho Dlangalala’s side.
After 11 games this season, they sit fourth in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, four points behind league leaders Orbit College.
