Banyana Banyana midfielder Linda Motlhalo has returned to Glasgow City after a stint with NWSL side Racing Louisville, penning a deal until 2026.
Mothlalo, 26, returns to the Scottish giants, where she celebrated major success, winning the Scottish Women’s Premier League title in 2023.
She made 34 appearances and scored four goals for City, having originally arrived from Swedish side Djurgårdens IF during the 2022/23 winter transfer window.
“I’m so happy to be back, this place brings back a lot of great memories,” Motlhalo told City’s media department.
“Glasgow will always be like a second home. When I first left Leanne and all the staff said if you ever want to come back this will always be home. I didn’t even think twice when they called to say I could come back. When that happened I told my agent that’s where I’m going.
“I’ve come at a time when it’s really hectic and I’ve just come in from off season so it’s going to be demanding for me to catch up but I’ve been watching the games and I like the direction of where the team is going.”
