Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of Thapelo Maseko from Tshwane rivals SuperSport United.
Maseko, 20, was one of the main targets of Sundowns, but they had to fight off interest from Belgian side KVC Westerlo, who had also submitted multiple offers to SSU.
However, Masandawana and Matsatsantsa have now finally agreed on the transfer, which also see Grant Margerman move to SuperSport permanently, as previously reported by iDiski Times.
On Tuesday, Sundowns announced the arrival of Maseko, who will join the club on their pre-season camp in Europe.
Maseko, who scored four goals in 24 league games last season, is Sundowns’ fourth off-season signing after Junior Mendieta, Lesiba Nku and Lucas Ribeiro Costa.
