Sekgota To Join New PSL Club

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC winger Kgaogelo Sekgota has signed a one-year deal with Magesi.

The 27-year-old was released by Stellenbosch last season and started training with his former club Moroka Swallows.

However, after news of their status sale emerged, he resurfaced at the newly promoted DStv Premiership side.

iDiski Times have been informed he’s penned a one-year deal with the Motsepe Foundation Championship side and is ‘determined’ to resurrect his once-promising career.

He bolsters Clinton Larsen’s attacking options that has Delano Abrahams and Tshepo Kakora, who joined from AmaTuks and La Masia this week.

The South Africa international played for Stumbras in Lithuania and Vitória Setúbal in Portugal before returning to the country with the now-defunct Bidvest Wits in 2020.

He went on to represent Swallows, Chiefs and Stellenbosch over the last four seasons.
