AmaZulu have unveiled their new signings Abbubaker Mobara and Manyiek ‘Abraham’ Majok on Thursday.
As reported by iDiski Times, the Durban-based outfit have completed the signing of Mobara from Cape Town City, with the versatile defender receiving the Nr. 2 shirt at Usuthu.
Mobara, who can play at centre-back, right-back or as a defensive midfielder, reunites with Benni McCarthy at AmaZulu and is a marquee signing ahead of the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
The 27-year-old leaves City after making 53 appearances for the club since he’s joined the Citizens from Orlando Pirates in 2019.
In addition, AmaZulu also snapped up Manyiek Majok, better known as Abraham, who last played for Cyprus side PAAEK.
The 23-year-old was born in Kenya but grew up in Australia. He last played in Cyprus with PAEEK. While he represented Australia at U23 level, the forward has made himself available for South Sudan.
