Mozambique head coach Chiquinho Conde has named his final 23-man squad set for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations.
The Southern Africans are in Group B alongside Egypt, Ghana and Cape Verde in what will be their fifth appearance at the AFCON finals.
Atletico Madrid left-back Reinidlo Mandava returns to the fold after an extended absence due to injury while Elias Pelembe will captain the side, aged 40.
Kaizer Chiefs’ Dove Edmilson has also made the squad while Manuel Kambala of Polokwane City has been snubbed for the highly-rated Amade Momade.
Sporting Lisbon winger Geny Catamo has also been included, with the 21-year-old scoring three goals with two assists in his last four games for the Mambas.
The Cosafa nation open their campaign in Abidjan against Egypt on 14 January at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
