Chiefs Confirm Major Decision On Zwane Future

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Arthur Zwane has been redeployed within the development structures of the club, while Dillan Sheppard will stay on as assistant to interim coach Cavin Johnson following the departure of Molefi Ntseki.

On Monday, Chiefs announced they have parted ways with Ntseki “amicably by mutual consent” following the “recent run of disappointing results” and “under “the prevailing circumstances”.

Cavin Johnson, who recently joined Chiefs as Head of the Youth Development Academy, will take over as the First Team coach on an interim basis.

“I would like to thank Coach Ntseki for his contribution to the Club since he arrived here, both at development level and with the senior team. We wish him success in his future endeavours,” said Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr.

The Amakhosi leadership further confirmed that while Sheppard will stay on as assistant coach, Zwane was redeployed.

“Current assistant coach, Dillon Sheppard will retain his position under Johnson,” the club stated.

“Assistant Coach, Arthur Zwane will return to his former role within the development structures of the Club.”

Ntseki, who was appointed in the role after his stint as Head of Technical and Development, lasted 13 games, with four wins, three draws and six defeats.
