Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of Lesedi Kapinga on a three-year deal ahead of the new season.
Kapinga, 28, joins on a free transfer after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns where he spent three seasons.
While he never quite became a regular fixture in the starting eleven, Kapinga remains one of the most exciting talents in the DStv Premiership.
“I am pleased to join the Club,” he told the club’s official website. “I’m not much of a talker because talk is cheap.
“All I’m focused on is to start training and working my way back to playing the game I love.”
Kapinga has been allocated the number 21 shirt at the Buccaneers and arrives after scoring four goals with seven assists in 39 games at Masandawana.
He was also part of the South Africa national team squad that finished third at the 2023 Cosafa Cup this month.
