Jwaneng Galaxy head coach Morena Ramoreboli says their pursuit of the CAF Champions League group stages is not over despite the 2-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in Botswana.
Pirates secured a vital victory at the National Stadium in Gaborone with goals in each half from Tshegofatso Mabasa and Deon Hotto.

The two away goals puts Jose Riveiro’s side in pole position ahead of the 2nd leg tie at Orlando Stadium next week for their 2nd round preliminary round fixture.
“We played… we’re disappointed with the result but the performance was very good, we had our moments, we could have scored, but maybe we rushed in the final third, again… if you look at the goals they scored, based on analysis, the one Tshego scored, that’s how they got it, a goal they scored in a critical phase of the game, second before half-time,” he said.
“The second one we were chasing, it looked like we could score, with pressure, with aggression, unfortunately, they won the ball in midfield, and quickly played forward, we could have done better, tracked back, but we delayed and they scored the second.
“I still believe we tried our best to score, it was not meant to be. It’s football, sometimes you need to take the result, as bad as they are. We need to go back, plan, what we going to do in the second leg, it’s not over yet, it’s football.”
The Buccaneers host the Botswana Premier League champions in Soweto next week on Saturday at 18h00.
