Pitso Unsure Of What To Expect From Chiefs
Pitso Mosimane has reacted to facing Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Champions League final, saying he doesn’t know what to expect from the Soweto giants.
The 56-year-old will appear in his second successive CAFCL final after lifting the trophy with Al Ahly last season.
The ‘Club of the Century’ eliminated Esperance with a comfortable 3-0 home victory to progress 4-0 on aggregate, while Kaizer Chiefs knocked out Wydad Casablanca 1-0 on aggregate.
Mosimane has faced Amakhosi many times in his career but insisted he is unsure which Chiefs side will turn up in the final.
“They scored four goals against Simba, so they can defeat you,” he said when asked by iDiski Times about the prospect of facing Chiefs.
“They also conceded three goals against Simba, but they are difficult to grasp. Good team, but it’s an awkward team. You can’t describe them easy.
“I can talk about Orlando Pirates or Mamelodi Sundowns but Kaizer Chiefs I don’t know what to expect.
“One day they lose to a team that got relegated and another day they beat Mamelodi Sundowns, you have to respect them.”
The match will take place on 17 July in Morocco and it will be a one-legged final.
