Swallows Make Major Announcement As Transfer Window Nears End

Swallows FC can finally sign and register new players after their transfer-ban from FIFA has been lifted.

The DStv Premiership outfit were in hot water with FIFA due to money owed to two Serbian players – Obren Cuckovic and Vladimir Mandic – who played for the old Moroka Swallows back in the the 2014/2015 campaign.

Despite the fact that the then Swallows was liquidated, and the current club is a new entity, the matter had resurfaced with the world governing body.

Swallows chairman David Mogashoa stated in September that he was confident the matter would be resolved before the end of the month, it took the club a lot longer.

However, on Friday, they confirmed that their ban has been lifted by the world football governing body.
