Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars have confirmed the exit of head coach Sundra Govinder with immediate effect.
Govinder has resigned from his role with the club in seventh place in the second-tier, this after falling at the promotion/playoff hurdle last season.
“We sincerely thank Coach Sundra for his unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions to the team. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours,” the club statement read.
“In the interim, Coaches Selaotse Mosala and Hassan Falayajo will take charge of the team, working closely with our existing coaching staff as we commence the search for a new head coach.
“To our family of “Believers,” your unwavering support is the backbone of our journey. Together, we will navigate this transition and continue to push forward.”
After an impressive start to the season, Casric had won just one game in their last eight.
