Former Manchester United forward Odion Ighalo scored as Josef Zinnbauer picked up his first win with Al-Wehda in Saudi Arabia.
Zinnbauer left Raja Club Athletic after an unbeaten double last season and moved to the Saudi Pro League.
He started his campaign with an unlucky 3-3 draw, where his side scored the 3-2 in the 94th minute only to concede the equalise in the seventh minute of injury-time.
This around, though, it was Al-Wehda who scored an injury-time winner over Al-Orobah FC. Ighalo had handed Zinnbauer’s men an early 1-0 lead in the first minute of the game, but the visitors had equalised in the 33th minute.
However, Murad Khadhari netted in the 93rd minute to hand the German tactician his first win in Saudi Arabia.
Nigerian striker Ighalo was also named Man of the Match after the 2-1 win.
Al-Wehda currently sit in fifth place on four points, level with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, but two behind treble winner Al-Hilal.
