Pitso Mosimane added another piece of silverware to his personal collection in 2020, when he guided Al Ahly to the Egyptian Cup success.
Al Ahly beat Tala’a El-Gaish on penalties in the final.
Mahmoud Kahraba scored for the African champions in the 65th minute, but El-Gaish found an equaliser in stoppage time through Nasser Mansy to force the game into extra time.
With no goals in extra time, the match went to a penalty shoot out, which Al Ahly won 3-2.
It is the 37th time Al Ahly has won the Egyptian Cup, and just the second treble in their history.
Mosimane. joined Al Ahly the day after the Egyptian giants qualified for the last eight of this tournament, and he and his technical department, including Assistant Coach Cavin Johnson, were on the bench from the quarter-finals onwards.
