Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has reacted to his side’s 4-0 victory over Chippa United.
Amakhosi were on fire against the Chilli Boys, with Keagan Dolly scoring a brace, with Khama Billiat netting the third and Lazarous Kambole completing the rout.
It doesn’t surprise that Baxter was pleased with his side’s performance that saw the Glamour Boys climb up the table.
“A little bit nervy, with teams realised this was an important game to gain momentum and kickstart something,” he said after the match.
“We played ok, we made a few mistakes but when the goal came, we were in command. We put a couple of defensive things right at half-time.
“I think if we had been sharper, more clinical in the second there may have been more goals for us.
“I’m very, very pleased with the result, pleased with the character we’ve shown. Especially pleased for Keagan Dolly tonight, cause I think he was outstanding.”
