Blom – We Are Going To Give It Our Best

Kaizer Chiefs’ young midfielder Njabulo Blom, who turns 21 on Friday, says they are ready to give their best when they face Black Leopards in the DSTV Premiership on Wednesday night.

The Amakhosi and Lidoda Duvha meet in the only league game scheduled for this week.

Both teams have not had the best of starts to their league campaigns, with Chiefs currently 13th, while Leopards are 15th after five rounds of action.

Blom says the Chiefs players are looking to impress Gavin Hunt, who took over the coaching job at the start of the season, and he says players are still playing for their places.

“We are going to give it our best on Wednesday,” Njabulo Blom told the club’s media department in the build-up to the game.

“I think we are going to work hard because everyone wants to secure their place in the team, and we know that we have a new coach, and he can bring any player in at any given time. So I think the guys want to secure their place in the team at the moment”.

“We are working hard towards the game on Wednesday, and I think we’ve been doing everything correctly in terms of recovery and training.”

This past weekend Chiefs progressed through the CAF Champions League preliminary round, after beating Cameroon’s PWD Bamenda 1-0 on aggregate.
