City Announce Midfielder
Cape Town City have announced their fourth signing ahead of the 2021/2022 DStv Premiership season.
Last week City announced the signings of Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Darren Keet, as well as former Maritzburg United goalkeeper Bongani Mpandle and teenage full back Patrick Fisher, who spent last season at Cape Town Spurs.
Now Eric Tinkler’s team have continued their recruitment by bringing in midfielder Katlego Mokhouane.
Mokhouane is a former Free State Stars player, who while he only made eight appearances in the GladAfrica Championship last season, had impressed in previous seasons.
The 26 year old had played for Ea Lla Koto for five seasons. He has signed a four year deal with the club.
“I’m very much happy to join the club,” Mokhouane said.
“It’s a very much big club and with big expectations so I’m actually excited, and I’m looking forward to the new season. I’m glad I’m here with the coaches and the staff welcoming me very much.
“So I very much appreciate the opportunity to play for such a big club so I’m open to to help wherever I can in terms of the new season.
Okay, I’m actually looking to to at least win trophies, because I think that’s the reason I’m here, to be able to to win some some trophies for the club.”
