Katsande Says He’ll Return To Chiefs
Willard Katsande has revealed that he will eventually return to Kaizer Chiefs after rounding of his career elsewhere and doing his coaching badges.
The 35-year-old was released by the Glamour Boys last week and reports in local media have since linked him with a move Sekhukhune United.
However, Katsande has now told iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu that his path will again lead him back to Naturena at some point in the future.
“Of course I’m going round up my career somewhere, if somebody comes and they want want me, obviously I’m gonna go and see chairman and everyone associated with the rand,” he said in iDiski Times.
“Remember, I’m not just leaving like a player who played just two seasons with Chiefs, I’m leaving as someone who offered more than a decade at the club, something they really value.
“I’m going to round up my career, whilst I’m also taking my badges, when I’m done….I will come back home. I’m sure its gonna work both ways.”
Katsande has made 326 official appearances for Amakhosi, with the CAF Champions League final defeat against Al Ahly being his last one.
