Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye says Amakhosi star Khama Billiat can look lost at the Glamour Boys.
The Zimbabwean international star joined the club from Mamelodi Sundowns in 2018 as the biggest signing by the club at that time.
However, Khanye, believes having paid lots of money could be the cause of a problem to the player.
“When Khama joined Chiefs, a lot was expected from him,” Khanye wrote in his iDiski Times column.
“It is rumored that he is one of the highest paid players in the whole league. This will definitely affect his mindset, especially if it true.
“Judging by his body language, you can tell that he is not mentally okay. Sometimes he looks lost. Chiefs have not won any trophy in the past six years and Khama was brought to solve that problem. He is also not surrounded by good players and that will no doubt affect his game.
“He is a good player, but I think Chiefs’ poor run and trophy drought has weighed heavy on him as a player. You can clearly see that he is no longer the same. I still think he is a very good player.”
