Orlando Pirates co-caretaker coach Mandla Ncikazi has given an injury update ahead of Sunday’s CAF Confederations Cup clash against Diables Noirs.
Ncikazi confirmed three Buccaneers players are still side-lined before adding he cannot be sure about some others at this stage.
The Sea Robbers’ return to continental football after playing a goalless draw with Maritzburg United in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday.
Nonetheless, the 52-year-old has given an injury update, saying they don’t have many injuries but Thembinkosi Lorch, Richard Ofori as well as Vicent Pule are still out.
“With so many injuries that are taking place in our club you even lost count of how many players are out in the sick bed,” he said during a press conference.
“But currently there are not many players that are out except the ones that you know, Lorch is still out, Pule is still out, Ofori is still out.”
In addition to the ones mentioned Zakhele Lepasa is also still sidelined as he recovers from his long-term injury.
