Steve Komphela has praised Rivaldo Coetzee as best in his position after he was snubbed from Hugo Broos’ latest Bafana Bafana squad.
The 24-year-old midfielder has picked up three Man of the Awards in the first four DStv Premiership games of the season but was once again not selected by Broos.
Coetzee does seemingly meet the age profile of what Broos is looking for but it remains somewhat of a mystery why he wasn’t picked.
His club coach, Komphela engaged to questions about Coetzee’s omission on twitter, praising the midfielder’s qualities.
However, Komphela was also quick to point out that his remarks were not to question Broos’ decision but rather to point the qualities of his player.
