Mamelodi Sundowns played a goalless draw against Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Wednesday evening in the DStv Premiership and Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi was impressed by two of his opponents..
Sundowns were the most dominant side in the match as they created opportunities galore from the opening minute, with Hlompo Kekana coming closest to scoring as he hit the crossbar.
Tshakuma did not offer much in the game but their resistance at the back earned them a point away from home, something which coach Joel Masutha will be happy with.
Masandawana co-coach, Mngqithi, admitted that his side did not create sufficient opportunities to win the game. Speaking after the encounter, the coach added, “Most of the chances were created by the high press, which worked really well but unfortunately did not yield any result.
“We knew that it was not going to be an easy game, they have signed quite a lot of players, Ngema from Uthongathi is a very good player and Justin Shonga as well.”
Sundowns are second on log with four points from two matches, while TTM have only managed draws from their first two league games.
