Ncikazi Proud To Be The Coach Of This Arrows Team

Golden Arrows Head Coach Mandla Ncikazi says he was very proud of his team’s performance in their 2-0 DStv Premiership win over Orlando Pirates on Tuesday night.

Pule Mmodi scored a brace for Arrows, as they moved to fourth on the table, usurping Pirates from the spot.

Ncikazi says they are still a work in progress, but says he is very proud to be the coach of this Arrows team.

“I thought it was one of those games that we were almost perfect in a lot of departments,” Ncikazi said after the win.

“I thought we adapted well to their two number tens, we adapted well to the ball on top, and I thought we had the ability to come out cleanly, even in the second half.”

“I thought they had the possession, but I think we created the better chances, even before we scored. I’m just proud that the team keeps on moving forward.”

“We jus stay within our targets, we don’t want to punch above our weight. Performances are good, a work in progress, I’m just proud to be the coach of such a good team.”
