Kaizer Chiefs have announced their seventh signing of this transfer window on Tuesday.
Amakhosi confirmed the move of Bafana Bafana defender Austin Dube from Richards Bay.
“We would like to confirm the signing of Thabani Austin Dube,” the club said in a statement.
“The central defender joins Amakhosi from Richards Bay United on a 3 year contract with a further 2 year option.
“The 28 year old Dube recently lifted the Cosafa Cup with Bafana Bafana.
“Welcome!”
Dube becomes the club’s seventh new signing after Brandon Peterson, Sifiso Hlanti, Phathutshedzo Nange, Njabulo Ngcobo, Sibusiso Mabiliso and Kgaogelo Sekgota.
Dube spoke to iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu in last week’s edition, revealing that the club had been tracking him for two years.
