Mamelodi Sundowns’ Uruguayan midfielder Gaston Sirino says they can win all the trophies they’re competing in if they take care of themselves properly going forward.
The DStv Premiership leaders are in control of the league as they find themselves four points in the lead, with two games in hand (three over some teams).
Four wins out of four in the CAF Champions League group stages means they’ve already qualified for the last eight, even though there are still two group games remaining.
They are also in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup, where they will take on Orlando Pirates in two weeks time.
“We are doing well, I am enjoying my football and we are getting the results,” Sirino told Sundowns’ website.
“Everything is good because everyone realizes that we are on the right path, there is still a long way to go but if we continue in this way we will achieve our objectives.”
“We have to take care of ourselves in the best way we can so that we can win all the titles that we are playing for. If you look at the team we have the necessary squad to do so.”
“Mamelodi Sundowns is a great team and winning is part of our DNA, so we must go out and make sure that we bring in the trophies like we have been doing all these years.”
