Swallows have confirmed that Brandon Truter has returned from his “special leave” and was reinstated as coach, with one member of their technical remaining suspended.
The Dube Birds had placed coach Brandon Truter on “special leave” with assistant Simo Dladla taking over.
However, the unconventional method didn’t have the desired effect as Swallows first drew 0-0 with Cape Town City before being eliminated from the MTN8 by the same team after receiving a 4-0 hiding before losing 3-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Swallows have now confirmed that Truter will return to his role as head coach, while Dladla will go back to his assistant and performance analyst role.
Meanwhile, Kamal Sait “will remain suspended pending the outcome of his disciplinary hearing”.
The DStv Premiership side, though, did also state that “the board is not happy with the current performance of the team and it can’t be rule out drastic changes of the situation persists”.
Swallows will face Stellenbosch away from home after the international break before hosting Chippa United.
