Former Orlando Pirates star Tso Vilakazi has congratulated the team following their impressive 5-0 aggregate win over Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8.
The Buccaneers sailed to a 2-0 victory in the second-leg of their semi-final on Sunday, having already owned a 3-0 lead from the first Soweto Derby.
Following the game, Vilakazi said that credit needed to be given where it was due, and believes that they are back on the path to success.
“Well done to the charmain, Screamer Tshabalala, Floyd Mbele, the coach and the technical team,” Vilakazi told iDiskiTV.
“Yes we have been criticising the players because they had not been showing that they are playing for a big team.
“You can now start to see that there is something good that they are building. Tyson Hlatshwayo is starting to show his quality.
“We have to pay compliment when something is good happening, Pirates are doing well at the moment. The technical team and management are having a good impact on the players. Things are clicking at the right time for the team.”
