Premier Soccer League Legend Reneilwe Letsholonyane has given clarity over his future and whether he will call it quits anytime soon.
The TS Galaxy midfielder has been playing top-flight football for over 18 years now and has solidified his name as one of the best midfielders to have ever played in the PSL era.
The 38-year-old raised eyebrows recently when he posted a signed Highlands Park jersey on social media alongside a cryptic message. This led to many in the media space to speculate whether the veteran was hanging up his boots.
In a lengthy interview with TS Galaxy social media, Yeye cleared up questions around his future. He said:
“I’ve never said I am retiring. If I am retiring, it will be clear that I am calling it quits. I cant say that I am retiring and then post a Highlands Park jersey alone out of all the teams I have played for… it doesn’t make sense. In short, I didn’t say I was retiring, but I said I am closing the chapter of Highlands Park.”
The midfield maestro has played for Jomo Cosmos, PJ Stars, Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United among other clubs. He has also represented Bafana Bafana at major tournament like the FIFA world cup and the African Cup of Nations.
