Zambian club Zesco United have reported that two of their players are heading to Sekhukhune United.
Goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata and left-back Mwila Phiri are the players in question, and they look to set to be the latest signings for the recently promoted team.
Nsabata has 27 caps for Chipolopolo, while Phiri has ten.
“ZESCO United second choice goalkeeper, Toaster Nsabata has joined South African Premier League promoted side Sekhukhune football club after the former reached an agreement with the Zambian Super League champions,” it said on the club’s website.
“Nsabata joined ZESCO United from ZANACO in December last year after penning a 3-year contract with the Ndola based league giants.
“ZESCO United have further released club left back Mwila Phiri with the latter having remained with two months on his contract.
“Phiri has since joined Nsabata at Sekhukhune football club ending his two years and eight months stay at ZESCO United.”
