There was no change at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship despite a heavy defeat for 1st-placed Orbit College as 2nd-placed Baroka also lost.
Orbit suffered a heavy 6-1 loss to Casric Stars on Saturday, but Dan Malesela’s Baroka team were unable to take advantage, as they lost 2-1 to a resurgent Pretoria Callies at the same time.
It was a weekend without draws, that started on Friday as Hungry Lions moved up to third with a 2-1 win over JDR Stars. La Masia were 2-0 victors over Black Leopards, while AmaTuks moved to fourth with a 2-0 win over Magesi.
On Saturday there were also a 2-0 win for Venda Football Club over Marumo Gallants, Milford beat Platinum City Rovers 1-0, while Upington City beat coach-less Maritzburg United 2-0.
