Mamelodi Sundowns have exercised the option in midfielder Rivaldo Coetzee’s contract. Coetzee, 27, has been with Sundowns for eight years after joining the side from Ajax Cape Town – now Cape Town Spurs – at a young age. Coetzee was close to joining Scottish giants Celtic but failed a medical at the club before making the switch to Chloorkop.
