COSAFA Cup Draw Confirmed, Bafana Learn Opponents

Bafana Bafana were drawn in Group A with Mozambique, Eswatini and Botswana at the upcoming 2024 COSAFA Cup. The dates for the tournament have finally been set, and it will take place between 26 June to 7 July in South Africa. The draw for the tournament took place today, with the 12 participating teams being split in three groups of four teams. In this week’s edition, iDiski Times has named its PSL Team of the 2023/24 Season, as voted for by all iDiski journalists. The criteria was for the entire 2023/24 campaign, including all competitions that South African teams were involved in. South African referee and police officer Akhona Ndzingo sadly lost his life on Wednesday after being involved in a shooting incident in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. Ndzingo, who also worked as a police officer, is reported to have been shot dead last night in Khayelitsha, Site B. The PSL referee was on duty as a police officer when a suspect shot him.
