Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has given a crucial update on the situation of Monnapule Saleng, saying he has been recovering from injury faster than expected. The left-footer joined Masandawana in the January transfer window from Orlando Pirates, having spent the first round of the season on loan at Orbit College. However, he has had to wait for his debut as he has been nursing a quad injury. Initially, the club said the 27-year-old would be sidelined for close to two months before returning to action.
