Ouaddou On How He’ll Replace Departing Mbokazi

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has spoken about replacing Mbekezeli Mbokazi who’s leaving the club.  The 20-year-old defender is set to join MLS outfit Chicago Fire after the Africa Cup of Nations in January.  Ouaddou admitted he will miss Mbokazi, noting that no coach would want to lose a player of his quality.  However, he stressed that he will work with what he has at his disposal, adding that it is his responsibility to develop players and give them opportunities.  Ouaddou also acknowledged the need for a left-footed centre-back, explaining that Mbokazi’s departure leaves him with only right-footed options, saying

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has publicly apologised to Mbekezeli Mbokazi for his comments in the previous press conference when he was upset about the player arriving late in camp.
