Mamkhize’s Last Ditch Attempt To Save PSL Status Fails
Royal AM President Shauwn Mkhize’s last-ditch attempt to fight for their Premier League Soccer (PSL) status has fallen on deaf ears. The PSL was due to hold at Board of Governors meeting on Thursday to confirm the demise of the Royal AM status in the league, and officially expel the club, leading to a 15-team league to complete the 2024/25 season. This due to the failed takeover attempts of the club that has been under curatorship of the South African Revenue Services (SARS) amidst their legal battle against Mkhize over unpaid taxes.
