FCSB defender Siyabonga Ngezana has been named in the Best XI of the Romanian Superliga.
Following a good and successful first season in the Romanian Superliga, Ngezana continues to be celebrated after he was named in the Superliga Best XI.
The 27-year-old, who has an exclusive interview in this week’s iDiski Times e-paper, made 23 league appearances in 2023/24, helping the side to clinch their first league title in nine years and the first in his football career.
His performance saw him earn a place in the South African national team and he helped Hugo Broos’ team to qualify for AFCON, with the next target to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
The Bafana Bafana defender was recently named Best Defender and Best Foreign Player of the Superliga at the awards ceremony that was hosted by the publication Fanatik.
However, Ngezana is currently injured and has missed the last four matches which includes UEFA Europa League clash against Bundasliga side TSG Hoffenheim.
