Adams Reveals Dream Club

Stellenbosch FC and Bafana Bafana midfielder Jayden Adams admits his long-term dream is to play for Premier League club Liverpool.

Adams came through the development structures of Stellenbosch where he won the DStv Diski Challenge trophy and NextGen in that same season two years ago.

He made his debut for Stellies’ senior side in August 2020 against Chippa United and has not looked back.

The 22-year-old was part of the Bafana Bafana squad that finished third in AFCON which was held in Ivory Coast and came back with a bronze medal.

Mamelodi Sundowns have been reported as one of the sides that are eying the talented midfielder, who admits he’s dream is to play for the iconic Premier League giants.

“My goal is to play Europe, I would like to play for Liverpool that’s my team so that’s my big-term goal,” he told ForwardZone Football.

Adams also explained that playing for Stellenbosch means he’s being away from his little daughter but he’s using modern technology to stay in touch with his loved ones.

“I want to be at the highest level so I need to do these things but I think the video call [to my family] and the messages are very important and play a big role in my life,” he added.

“For me, it’s a privilege to be here and before the game, I usually sit here on this seat so Yhea! It’s a big privilege for me.”
