Kwanele Kopo has returned to football, landing the head coach role at Motsepe Foundation Championship club AmaTuks.
Kopo, whose first role as a head coach came with Pretoria Callies in the second-tier has long been touted as one of the finest coaches in the country, but spent most of his years in the development of SuperSport United and in the South Africa junior national teams.
He earned a move to Chippa United, where he then resigned mid-season, in the campaign that just passed but now returns for an ambitous project with the University of Pretoria.
The club holds a strong relationship with Mamelodi Sundowns, and are expected to sign several of their promising talents that are on the fringes of the Sundowns first-team, to bolster their squad for the new season.
Tuks also confirmed that Kopo will be assisted by Machete Moloto for the upcoming season.
