Moroccan giants Raja Club Athletic have signed former Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder Haashim Domingo, as reported by iDiski Times.
Domingo, 27, failed to agree to a contract extension with Masandawana, leaving him to join a club of his choice on a free transfer.
Today, the three-time CAF Champions League winners announced the signing of the South African midfielder, who penned a two-year deal with the club and becomes Josef Zinnbauer’s first signing at the club.
Domingo joined Sundowns from Bidvest Wits in 2020, making 57 appearances for the club during which he scored five goals and set up seven more.
He featured in 17 games across all competitions this campaign and head coach Rulani Mokwena was understood to be on retaining his services.
Domingo won three DStv Premiership titles, one Nedbank Cup trophy and one MTN8 trophy during his time with Masandawana.
