Spurs Close To Securing 3rd Downs Player

Mamelodi Sundowns winger Promise Mkhuma is set to complete a loan move to Cape Town Spurs, iDiski Times has learnt.

Mkhuma, 23, joined Sundowns’ senior team in January 2020 and he made his debut in August that year after an impressive season in the Multichoice Diski Challenge, which is now known as DStv Diski Challenge.

He went on to win three league titles with Masandawana and a Nedbank Cup trophy and made 23 appearances for Masandawana overall.

However, with the immense quality among the current crop of players at Chloorkop, it has become difficult for him to make it through, and he was on loan at Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars from January.

‘Promo’ as he is affectionally known returned from his loan after making 12 appearances and scoring twice.

This publication can confirm that Mkhuma is edging closer to putting a pen on paper with Spurs on a season-long loan and he has already arrived in Cape Town.

The Urban Warriors have already completed the loans of Luvuyo Phewa and Siyanda Msani from Sundowns, while Orlando Pirates confirmed that Boitumelo Radiopane has also re-joined Spurs on loan.
