Zwane Gives Updates On Billiat, Manyama & Zwane

Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Arthur Zwane has given an update on the availability of players such as Khama Billiat, Lebogang Manyama and Dumisani Zuma, who all missed the first leg against Wydad Casablanca.

The Glamour Boys collected a hard-fought 1-0 victory in Morocco on Saturday but their semi-final is far from over.

Amakhosi did get the result in Casablanca despite the absence of several key players, but Zwane confirmed that at least Manyama should be available for the return fixture at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

“We won’t have, maybe, Khama because he is coming back to fitness, he’s been out for a while now,” the Chiefs assistant, who together with Dillon Sheppard will once again stand in for Stuart Baxter, said.

“So we believe in the second leg I don’t think he will be ready to compete at this level. But yes, definitely Lebo, he should be ready.

“Zuma is also still out but we will come out with a plan, just like we prepared for this one (in Casablanca). We will also plan for the second leg to see how we can punish them in terms of creating goal scoring opportunities.”

Chiefs welcome Wydad, who still have a Botola Pro fixture on Tuesday evening, at 18:00 (SA time) at home on Saturday.
