Ayman Makroud has confirmed he will no longer be joining Kaizer Chiefs this season.
The highly-rated analyst was set to join Nasreddine Nabi’s technical team as a performance analyst after working together at ASFAR.
While he’s currently in France on holiday after the end of the Botola Pro season, Makroud said in a statement that he will no longer be joining Amakhosi.
“Dear Kaizer [Chiefs] supporters, I deeply appreciate your warm messages, however, I regret to inform you that I will not be joining the club as planned,” he stated.
“I have decided to pursue another project will I will announce soon, thank you for you understanding and support.”
Makroud has been linked with a move to Wydad Atheltic Club in recent weeks but it remains to be seen where his next venture takes him.
