De Reuck Wants To Go Into FIFA Break On A Winning Note

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rushine De Reuck says that Swallows will be tough in the DStv Premiership on the weekend, and they won’t read too much into Maswaiswai’s heavy MTN8 defeat to Cape Town City in the MTN8 on Wednesday.

Sundowns host Swallows at Loftus Stadium on Sunday, with kick off scheduled for 17h30.

De Reuck says Swallows are a difficult team to play against, and while they haven’t had a good start to the season, they are a structured team, who kept many clean sheets last season.

“I think Swallows is a very structured team, they a very difficult to play against,” De Reuck told the club’s media department.

“They keep many, many clean sheets so we know it’s not gonna be easy game. So it’s gonna be very important for us to try and break them down, and create chances against them, like I said they’re structured.

“But I know that if we apply ourselves really well in the game I know that we will be able to do that.”

De Reuck says they won’t read too much into Swallows 4-0 MTN8 defeat to City on Wednesday, and says he expects them to be different in the league.

“You can’t really look into that, that was a cup game, it’s a league game now,” De Reuck continued.

“Obviously with them, they struggled a bit after they conceded the first goal, but now it’s a league game, it’s different so now, far us, we need to win this game.

“It’s very important to go into the FIFA break with that winning feeling.”
