Mamelodi Sundowns co-head coach Manqoba Mngqithi has given an update on the availability of key players Themba Zwane and Rivaldo Coetzee for their CAF Champions League match this weekend.
The duo were among a few Masandawana stars who missed their game against Golden Arrows on Wednesday but will return to the squad for their clash with Maniema Union.
Downs face the Congo DR side on Sunday and will hope to advance to the group stages of the CAF Champions League after collecting a 2-2 draw away from home.
“Zwane and Rivaldo are back, eligible for selection,” he told reporters.
“We believe they can help us. We had reasons not to take them to Durban, more especially Rivaldo, he had three yellow cards.
“Themba Zwane is always important to try and up fresh him because he is very important to us.
“I think in this match, they will be part of the team that we will be call on.”
